The section is dedicated to the transformation of management approaches in university libraries in the context of digital change, the development of artificial intelligence, and new challenges in the academic environment. A modern library requires flexible management, strategic vision, and leadership capable of ensuring innovative development, competitiveness, and institutional resilience.

Special attention is given to:

  • strategic planning of library development in accordance with university priorities and global Open Science and Open Education trends;
  • new models of library management in the context of digital transformation and process automation;
  • the use of AI tools for analytics, managerial decision-making, forecasting user needs, and evaluating service effectiveness;
  • library marketing, brand development, reputation management, and digital communication;
  • human capital development: new competencies, professional training, AI literacy, and leadership of librarians;
  • sustainable development of libraries, resource efficiency, inclusiveness, and adaptation to crisis conditions.

The section aims to discuss the library as a strategic center of the university, where effective management is combined with innovation, human potential, and responsibility for the future of the academic community.
